The Jefferson University Fashion Design program and the American Heart Association collaborate each year with the Red Dress collection for the junior students’ Pattern Development class. Inspired by ballet and the movement within dance, I designed this ball gown with tiers of ruffled organza and satin. It incorporates the flow and movement of a healthy beating heart in a classic feminine silhouette.
